I really, really hope everyone posting about having a cold or the flu feels better soon, but I really, really, REALLY hope you're all testing for Covid. Even if it wouldn't change how you treat yourself, it could make a difference in how dangerous you are to others. Please test & isolate if needed!

I think I might start a book club when this comes out.
In a post-Christmas miracle, my fruitcake-hating uncle refrained from "joking" about how much he hates fruitcake when offered a slice of the one I baked. My other uncle, who loves fruitcake, pronounced it excellent. I feel vindicated now.
