This really. The rhetoric should have been one of moral outrage: "the Republicans want to protect pedophiles while starving Americans and depriving them of healthcare and we won't stand for it."
i think if the democrats had dug in their heels and said "this is the epstein shutdown. trump is starving the country because he doesn't want the epstein files to come out" they probably could have ended him. so it was very kind of them to not do that

I think the important lesson to take from the Tea Party/MAGA over the last two decades is that it makes more sense to take over a political party than it does to split off and create a new one.

Threaten to primary every Democratic seat you can and then follow through.

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Hey.

You feel this feeling that you feel right now, when there's a huge electoral rebuke of Trump and all of his dipshits, when even rural PA is voting in full slates of Democrats? You feel how good that feels, when the first Muslim woman is elected to state-level office on the day Cheney died?

Californians, let’s call (916) 445-2841 to tell Newsom’s office to sign the following pro LGBTQ+ rights bills before the deadline:

AB 82/SB 497
AB 1084/SB 59
SB 418
AB 554
AB 728
AB 678
SB 590
SB 450
He hasn't signed the other bills yet, but he still has days to do so
This headline is misleading for not mentioning that.

The gender education veto is bad, but far from the most important trans rights bill on his desk.

There's still time to contact Newsom for the rest!

You hold the presidency, both chambers of Congress, and the Supreme Court. You clearly hold more power than the Democrats and anyone who believes otherwise is deluded.
Q: Why do you say some federal workers should not get their backpay?

TRUMP: Well, you're gonna have to figure that out. Ask the Democrats

Call, fax and email your senators and reps, ESPECIALLY if they're dems. The reporting is that one of Trump's conditions for government funding is a MASSIVE clampdown on trans care. Tell your dem reps that they should encourage their senate colleagues not to cave. Tell your senators to defend us.

If we get out of thief Chief Justice Roberts should be remembered as the Von Hindenburg of our time, a politician who fundamentally failed to do his duty in defense of the republic.
John Roberts is a pathetic figure, who is now personally implicated in the hundreds of thousands of lives this costs.

It's even more important that Democrats fight like hell for restrictions on this shit in the funding bill. SCOTUS isn't coming to save us.

Join us at 1930 Beach Street. 7-9 AM. Tell Broadview to tear this fence down.

Honestly, I think it's time we accept that the Times is no longer an authoritative, respectable "paper of record." This shit is unacceptable.
Top *eight* articles on NYT devoted to Charlie Kirk, top one asks if he will be remembered like MLK. This is a man who only a tiny percent of Americans had even heard of before his death, whose views are too nasty for NYT to detail. But they are trying so hard to turn into martyr.

In a just society everyone would experience far far less violence. A stable society is one that sees to everyone's needs and combats hateful, toxic rhetoric. Charlie Kirk created the EXACT world he wanted, a world of atomization and instability. Put another way, careful what you wish for...

Do I think extra judicial killings are good? No, they tend to make people feel frightened and violence often begets violence. Do I feel any particular sympathy for a man who has spent his entire career actively making society less stable and more hostile to people like me? Also no.

Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

I'm not exaggerating when I say you should be looking into long term food and water stockpiling. It is going to be ROUGH on this country when reality inevitably reasserts itself.

The Germans offered an unconditional surrender on the eighth of May 1945. The Emperor ordered an informal and also unconditional surrender of all Japanese forces on the fifteenth of August. Italy had surrender two years earlier in Cassibile. We did not negotiate.

Q: As a conservative, do you think the govt should have ownership stakes in private companies?

LAWLER: Generally speaking, no... I think what the president is seemingly trying to do is get a return on these tens of billions of dollars that are being invested by taxpayers into companies like Intel
