Big box stores who used to have public restrooms but close them or "claim" theyre out of order even though I know the employees get to use them are god damn menace. And its not like I can get mad at the employees, its not their fault that capitalism and corporate overlords ruined their stores.

I think a sales tax is legitimately the biggest third rail in Oregon history the same way an income tax is the biggest third rail in Washington history and having lived over a decade in both places, income is way better than sales.
I think across the spectrum major political players wanna see a coherent plan for stable long term funding for social services. On the other hand, it feels naive to imagine navigating property tax reform, sales taxes, the kicker, and other options when we can’t even raise the gas tax a nickel

I think a sales tax is legitimately the biggest third rail in Oregon history the same way an income tax is the biggest third rail in Washington history and having lived over a decade in both places, income is way better than sales.

Finally had a successful shop at a different Torrid. The one I tried last week had no size fives in what I needed. Today the one I went to had so many. I was able to walk away with new clothes.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.
When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.
This is outrageous.

It's rather incredible to me how many sports outlets' primary takeaway from this livestream was that Nacua criticized NFL refs and not that he did something EXTREMELY antisemitic during it. AA is practically the only one to actually highlight this.
