This seems like the most straightforward and also basically accurate message.
instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

Trump’s blanket pardons for stop-the-steal illegality aren’t only about settling scores from past elections. They’re about laying the groundwork to subvert future ones.

Trump went on a lying spree about inflation last week.

Grocery prices. Gas prices. Prescription drug prices. Overall prices. Over just three days, Trump made false claims about all of them.

This is the easiest case for understanding gerrymandering. Salt Lake City, in the center of the state, is the only Dem leaning area in Utah. So GOPers divided the state into 4 districts, radiating out from SLC, cutting it into four quadrants, preventing the city from electing a Rep of their choice.

The minority party cannot shut down the government. It is impossible. They don’t have the power.

A party that controls the House, Senate, and White House can decide it’d rather not do something on its own and pretend that’s the fault of some minority Senators, thereby shutting down the government.

In the US, Democratic voters have essentially no mechanism to change the direction of the party leadership.
