Software/DevOps in the public sector. Non-binary trans (they/them).
This would be great, but it's a missed opportunity if it doesn't also connect up to the new stadium. And it should be step free ;-)

(also amused that the station in this pre-feasibility concept image looks nothing like that, and there really isn't a big green spae in the middle of the P&R car park)
A new foot and cycle bridge across the A34, the East-West rail line, and the A4260 Oxford Road would link the site directly to Oxford Parkway station. Exeter says “Workers and visitors will arrive on foot or cycle to enjoy a high-quality public realm, free of vehicular traffic.”

I must’ve been a postdoc at MIT or a new-ish engineering professor when I first heard the story of how Ben Barre overheard colleagues talking about how his research was so much better than his ‘sister’ Barbara’s.
We're disappointed to see Ben Barres's powerful book "The Autobiography of a Transgender Scientist" among the ~400 titles removed from the Naval Academy Library. Needless to say, we're proud to have published his book and will keep it — and his memory — alive.

As coroners continue to issue PFD reports citing delays in accessing gender affirming care as contributing to the preventable deaths of trans people, our government forcibly chooses to detransition trans youth.

What’s happening in Brighton is unconscionable. It puts children in danger.

Meanwhile…
Please read this statement by Anne Health.

Trans children are being subjected by Sussex NHS to the physical torture of being forcibly detransitioned.

This is unnecessary cruelty and in my view constitutes torture, violence and child abuse on the part of NHS Sussex.

It is entirely the equalities regulator's function to push an equalities agenda that the Government doesn't like and publicly call them out when the Government drags its feet…

… it's just generally assumed that the equalities agenda they'd be pushing is not a regressive one.

Lex has been doing some of the moment's best, clear-eyed and forceful journalism. a major loss.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Delighted at the GPEW member surge happening in the context of @zackpolanski.bsky.social's positive messaging on trans rights + inclusion.

I hope it means there are now even more trans-inclusive folks in the party who can get active in @greenpartywomen.bsky.social to fight for liberation for all ❤️

I’ve signed this letter calling for full parliamentary scrutiny of the EHRC’s guidance.

Trans people deserve clarity, dignity, and safe access to services - not uncertainty and exclusion. Parliament must ensure that any guidance reflects lived experience and protects everyone’s rights.
