Very happy to share the latest preprint from the lab. We find that during cell competition, winners induce an increase in proline metabolism in loser cells, and this drives their elimination through repression of the integrated stress response.

The insulin inhibitory receptor (inceptor) is found to bind to insulin and to regulate insulin stores by directing proinsulin and insulin towards lysosomal degradation.
