My twitch account has been unbanned!!! Thank you so much everyone who supported me through this and reached out on my behalf. I'm absolutely sure that the community support is why this got turned around. I've been overwhelmed in a good way by how wonderful you all have been. I'm truly so grateful

With so many people new to organizing, there's a lot of normies who are unfamiliar and uncomfortable with tactics of resistance. Rather than coddling them, why not have an honest conversation with them and do some political education?

Just want to put out there for details sake:
-my twitch stream was indefinitely suspended and I appealed bc the reason of ban evasion makes no sense (I've never been banned)
- appeal was rejected with the explanation that I'm connected to a banned account that was created a few months ago.

Any twitch partners out there actually able to get a response from twitch support? Can you ask them to review my ban which says I'm a different banned account I've never heard of? They just nuked my account immediately and rejected the appeal. I've never even been suspended once, this is insane

I love hierarchy in academia. "This person had authority over me before I got my authority keys so actually they are beyond criticism"
He's always (very) aggressively fundraised for his lab's research program, students, fellows, and staff. I benefitted from such support as an advisee, so would be a hypocrite to generically fault any scientist for seeking funding, as I (and many of us) do to support those we advise. (3/8)
