This is the "lauded" Jeffrey Sachs. This needed to have happened more often. Instead he gets paraded around by certain media groups with large and influential reach. @krystalball.bsky.social for instance. No challenges, nothing. You can do better than have this clown, who said Putin won't invade!
Italian Senator left Jeffrey Sachs literally speechless and shocked by calling him a liar and a propagandist.

It happened on Prime Time Italian television.

Priceless 🤩

1) Start the worst European war since 1945 and commit every imaginable war crime
2) Decide how you want to be rewarded for your aggression
3) Leak the list of your desiderata to the US press
4) Wait for the US president to enforce your wish list on your victim.

** Redacted - National Security **

Unfortunately, the wording was not perfect.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

In April 2009, the Washington Post asked 10 writers to make the case for something that deserves to be tossed out as part of "spring cleaning."

I chose Larry Summers.

This pattern of flagrant, bold corruption is disgusting. If supporters of the administration see it any other way, then we are in a terrible position.

First, let's back up.

Noem has starred in a sprawling ad campaign she’s said is a crucial tool to stem illegal immigration—so crucial that DHS bypassed the normal competitive bidding process, designed to prevent waste & corruption in federal contracts www.propublica.org/article/kris...
Firm Tied to Kristi Noem Secretly Got Money From $220 Million DHS Ad Contracts
The company is run by the husband of Noem’s chief DHS spokesperson and has personal and business ties to Noem and her aides. DHS invoked the “emergency” at the border to skirt competitive bidding rule...

It's hard work distorting your worldview! For those "clowns" who are parents, reminding them to empathize just a bit might be the only way left.

Hmmm... Concerning.
Looks like we’re going to war with Venezuela to distract from the Epstein files.

"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

This is the thing that drives me insane. Things aren't normal; this isn't politics as usual. And when you accurately describe everything this administration is doing, it's so lawless, radical, and authoritarian that *you* sound like a partisan extremist.
seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

He (not surprisingly) focuses on the impact of the MAHA agenda. Of course, delays of research for months (which could be minimized by NIH with planning) will have little effect on MAHA actions
