Of course I'm mad at Republicans. But we would never get their vote. Progressives align more with Democrats than Republicans so they have good reasons to vote for Democrats, but often refuse to do so if Dems don't meet their purity tests.

It sort of bothers me to look at the rights of people as offense or defense, winning or losing.
