amazing how the entire machine can pivot within 24 hours. no need to slowly upsell the argument; just issue new marching orders

If your country goes to the World Cup hosted by the United Empire of Genocide, do not watch it! Demand your fave players refuse to play! The corporations and billionaires that own and promote professional sports will do nothing, it’s on the people to reject US imperialism.
At what point do countries start boycotting the World Cup and Olympics?

We have published the following update to our article following an email response from the New York Times.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

The New York Times and Washington Post both knew of the Trump plan to kidnap Maduro and chose not to publish it to protect US troops.

At least 40 Venezuelans were killed by US troops.

Regarding using Venezuela as a testing ground for Iran (and Cuba)
They're seeing 1) how the world reacts 2) how Congress reacts 3) if there is any formidable legal or military opposition 4) if they can normalize it like they tried to do with the Gaza genocide (I don't think that succeeded, and their attempts to normalize Epstein are succeeding even less)

One thing I feel like I'm not seeing mentioned enough is that the entire world needs this oil to stay in the ground, not be extracted and burned by a powermad colonial empire, further polluting the ecosphere and exacerbating the climate crisis, thus ensuring even more needless death and suffering.
"Trump’s new focus on Venezuelan oil reinforces claim action was never about ‘war on drugs’. US president claims US will take back oil stolen from it by Venezuela, but experts say no legal claim to natural reserves exists " www.theguardian.com/world/2026/j...

Folks bypass things like the fact that NYPD activated drones and 30 cop cars for a demonstration of 1000 people in freezing weather today. The levels of surveillance and potential repression are taken as regular order in this country.

Another thing about Maduro capture — this isn’t the work of fools, which means serious military people, and not just trumps dumb and dumber collection of idiots — went along with this. I’m so tired of seeing media frame this as just a Trump thing - this is maybe the most American thing he’s done.

If bush wasn’t impeached for Iraq and Afghanistan, Obama wasn’t impeached for Libya or the six other countries he bombed, Biden wasn’t impeached for Palestine…why would the dump be impeached for this? Boycott Amerika, disrupt the infrastructure of empire.
Impeachment talk is a balm for liberals who need to be reassured that the Constitution they believe in still exists despite all evidence to the contrary, but nothing more.

Reminder that the UK is illegally withholding gold reserves essential to Venezuela’s economy. It has been looted from over and over: oil, gold, lithium . Blood is on the hands of not only the US regime but the whole west’s. Via @declassifieduk.org

Why is Venezuela’s gold still frozen in the Bank of England?
Four years ago, the UK government recognised Juan Guaidó as Venezuela’s president. He’s now gone, but the Bank of England is still holding some of the country’s key assets.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

1. Headlines everywhere today read "Grok apologizes."

This is bullshit. A chatbot is not something that can apologize.

Pretending otherwise is simple laundering these companies' bullshit about what AI is, while diffusing blame away from the human beings that developed and released this system.
