They are changing the US into a country where masked police kidnap people in the streets, where people are disappeared for criticizing the government, where companies are rewarded or punished on the whims of the leader and where the government ignore court orders: what they call a shithole country.

My family told me how, during Hitler's times, it was imperative to have one's birth and other documents handy at all times -- and to make sure they were the right documents to prove their "pure" Aryan lineage, ideally as far back as possible. Heaven forbid, somebody lacked such documentation.
