Trump is pulling federal agents from drug enforcement to chase immigrants, leaving Arizona checkpoints unattended and even pardoning convicted traffickers.

@azagmayes.bsky.social is right: this is making families across America less safe.
Opinion | Arizona attorney general: We're doing our part to fight drugs at the border. But the Trump administration has backed off.
Kris Mayes: My state is at the front lines in a drug crisis. Yet federal efforts to fight drug and human trafficking are declining.

This statement is way outside of CIA’s lane and erosive of the ethical norm that intelligence should be non-partisan. If that norm vanishes, intelligence loses a very large portion of its value.

For what it’s worth, as a commander and officer it was my duty, moral obligation, and legal requirement to first question and then to not obey any illegal order I was given.

The same is true for everyone who swear their oath.

Hope that clears things up.

I don’t ever want to hear any Republican anywhere ever complain about someone instigating political violence against them ever again. They are a political violence party. They just object to splashback onto themselves of the environment of political violence they’ve created.
Important: House Dem leaders just said Trump's call for execution of Dems has prompted them to contact US Capitol Police and House Sergeant at Arms to "ensure the safety of these members and their families."

Treat Trump like an unhinged menace. He's weak and in deep political trouble. Don't let up.

A reminder: Tariffs are a regressive tax. The anti-Robin Hood.

Trump's current tariff settings effectively impose a tax rate on low-income households that's roughly TRIPLE that on high-income folks. That's not the way taxes are supposed to work.

And a third possibility is that they actually mean some sort of new individual health reimbursement account (HRA), not HSAs.

My point is, if Republicans don't actually know what acronym they're planning to use, maybe news outlets shouldn't be credulous about Republicans having a "plan."
This is neither here nor there, but the distinction between a FSA and a HSA is actually pretty monumental — FSAs are use-it-or-lose-it, HSAs are not — and I don't think we actually know which one Trump(/Rick Scott/Bill Cassidy) is talking about in his new concepts of a plan
