Seems to me that the obvious answer is to have the next James Bond film be set in the 1950s, the era of the first novels.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

I’m sad to learn that Lenny Wilkens has died. He was an inspiring figure and a constant in my childhood in the Seattle area.
