I was so moved by the Jimmy Carter funeral today I sent a donation to the CarterCenter.org. I would encourage you to do the same. He was the first President I ever voted for. He and Rosalynn continue to help people and wage peace even after death. Amazing. RIP Jimmy.

DOGE Oversight Subcommittee held a hearing on reducing federal property. All they said was “fire sale” this, “fire sale” that. Meanwhile, they’re lighting all of this s**t on fire — while their incompetent leader wastes millions of taxpayer dollars golfing, all while steering us towards a recession.

The U.S. must follow due process. If this administration is going to deport people, make sure they're actually criminals.

The stakes are too high to make mistakes.

Abrego Garcia should be returned immediately.

DOGE is not about efficiency or cost savings. It is about power.
Perhaps the most concise way to think about this is that Musk has pranced around bragging about cracking down on fraud and abuse, finding the bad guys. Meanwhile what he's actually done is enable perhaps the biggest splurge of fraud and tax cheating in history. For him and his pals.
So look at that. DOGE has cost the US Treasury fucking half a trillion dollars. HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS. This is your cost savings.

I was 17 in 1972 and remember being so hopeful then. Who could possibly be against Equal Rights in America? Like freedom and the right to pursue happiness...who could possibly be against it? I still don't understand the opposition. 🤔🤨

Today in history, 1972: The U.S. Senate passes the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and sends it to the states for ratification. Ratification seemed certain until a “conservative” backlash led by Phyllis Schlafly derailed the amendment. /1

Some of us don't know it yet.

Firing the senior leadership, scores of senior agents and hundreds of line agents will make us less safe from criminals and external threats. This is a catastrophe of yet incalculable proportions. These attacks on law enforcement are a menace to the American people.

Elon Musk is NOT:
- An elected official
- An appointee confirmed by the Senate
- Or even a legit fed

So why the hell has he been given access to fire federal employees, sensitive gov data, and federal payment systems.

He must be stopped.

Elon Musk is not a Federal employee or a political appointee. DOGE is not a real department. None of their activities are legal. This is a coup. The Republicans in Congress are willing participants in it. At what point do Democrats in DC get that and start acting like it? It’s not the price of eggs!

Not housing the homeless is a policy choice we have made. It is shameful and wrong. We should house and feed those in need and in poverty. Not give tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires.
MAGA's whole scam is to turn the most vulnerable into punching bags for the richest humans who have ever lived.

Homelessness is a real problem, but everything MAGA wants to do would only make it worse and more brutal for the unhoused.

Find out what can actually work.
