This is the best metaphor I have heard. Black mold cannot be easily remediated in many cases (think drywall), and the best (only) solution is to rip it all out and rebuild. That’s what has to happen with DHS and Border Patrol, especially ICE. Just obliterate it.

Minneapolis, Venezuela, Epstein, Iran, ICE - it’s all important, and we cannot just set issues aside because there are so many. But anything the Trump admin does that might in any way have any relevance to our election system must be considered the #1 priority. Our only hope is winning in November.

This is important. Yes, we’re all outraged by Renee Good’s murder, and justifiably so. But she’s not the only person ICE agents have killed. I know the fact she was white will mean something to some people, but Keith Porter was just as American. Remember Keith, too. Remember them all.
A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.
I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

When this nightmare is over, the only way we’ll ever regain any semblance of the standing 🇺🇸 had in the 🌎 10 years ago is for everyone involved with the illegal invasion of 🇻🇪 to stand trial in the ICC. Impeachment is necessary, but it’s not enough. They must set an example or it will happen again.

When Trump leaves office - and I have no doubt that will happen well before January 2029 - Vance is going to find that he is unable to accomplish anything meaningful. The cult will maintain some semblance of order for a short time, but the resistance will only grow. No one likes or respects Vance.
