7. When a case goes to the full court, one justice from each district is randomly selected to hear the case. The presiding justice is the justice from the district that elevated the case to the court.

6. When a case is presented to the court, the justices over that district can A) reject it unanimously, B) agree with the lower court’s decision unanimously, or C) send it to the full court.

5. The justices are assigned to be above a select district. If the number of district courts changes, so do the number of SC justices. Terms for justices over a district are staggered so a district will only change one justice every four (or five) years.
