Russians' brief five month occupation of Ukraine's southern city of Kherson wasn't easy for Moscow's barbaric marauders.

Unarmed citizens challenging Russian tanks and military vehicles of all kinds was commonplace before they were finally expelled.

This is the kind of spineless "opposition" that derails resistance. They won't speak for the millions of us who hit the streets to protest. They can't.

The Democratic party needs to denounce and replace these scabs, or it will be defined by them.

Q: Will you assure House Democrats they'll get a vote on ACA subsidies by a date certain?

MIKE JOHNSON: Ah -- no. I'm not promising anyone anything.

Come Back Alive clearly has good ideas for upgrading air defense. They're modernizing Shilkas: more than double detection range, 20 targets tracked swiftly and simultaneously.

An impressive upgrade to an old but abundant piece of hardware!

Excellent news, because:

"In December 2024, Bloomberg reported that China was restricting exports of critical components used in Ukrainian drones". China's been constricting supply further since.

But Ukraine's homegrown manufacturing is getting stronger.

This is why ICE is illegally refusing to allow sitting members of Congress to inspect their detention centers. These are large-scale, systemic human rights violations, in accordance with their dominant ideology.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Two pillars prevent Russian assault on Euro-Atlantic territory: NATO unity and Ukraine's fight.
If either erodes, 'the risk of armed confrontation between Russia and Europe would increase considerably.'

Ukrainian prosecutors told the UN that Russia’s 190,000 war crimes aren’t just chaos—they’re part of a planned, genocidal strategy.

5,100+ drone attacks on civilians in 2025 alone—twice last year’s number, the PG Office said.

As a necessity of surviving russia's bombing civilian infrastructure, Ukraine has overhauled its a grid with features we'd find in "bright green city" planning: peer-to-peer microgrids, diverse energy, battery-backed renewables.

I think it'll prove surprisingly ready for the future after the war.

Why aren't we talking about our power grid's safety from cyberattacks?

Ukraine's demoing open source tools to help secure its grid. It likely won't be first to deploy it, as structural redundancy and absolutely heroic engineers hold the line against russia's war.

Our countries should step up.
