russian bots on Xitter: "Wait until you see russia's response!"

Actual russian bot's response: 🍸🥴💥

The UN actually did something a wee bit useful?!

Might they consider making russia pay for anything?

I'll be very interested to hear what's said.

I really think we need small language models that can run independently on phones and laptops, and look up human-legible data, rather than more datacenters. This would be so much more energy-efficient!

What's more, they've made the model more efficient in Ukrainian - by adjusting the tokenizer. What's that? Imagine learning a new alphabet for a language you already know, one that's quicker and easier to write, and you can get the jist.

If it can't manage a mild folksy curse, what are we even doing? 😁

They've zeroed right in on some things I've been tinkering with, expertly. I love it!

They've built tests of fluency, and understanding of Ukrainian context. I wouldn't have been able to do that, but I think I see ways to improve reasoning abilities.

But as is, I don't let my top models pass without translating:

"Щоб тобі у роті пірʼя поросло!" 😁

After recent months of having to joust Grok's injections of propaganda, this is seriously refreshing. And datasets need not only be for training an AI.
November 12, 2025 at 6:27 AM
The last several months have seen some amazing developments in Ukrainian open source AI. I'm just catching up! This was really something I felt Ukrainians had to set the level on.

This "antipropaganda-safe" dataset is awesome! I've got some ideas for how to help. 😁

The Democratic party is the big tent for all who don't want a mafia state. That's too important a function for a handful of cowards to derail. It isn't sustainable. We need prompt accountability to people and settled law, not force and bribes.

Haggling away living needs isn't opposition.

It will be fascinating to see how this complements Gepards and drone interceptors.

The sight of russia's evil drone strikes on high-rise apartments show why Europe should be funding more upgrades - and it has much to learn from Ukraine about air defense.

This upgraded Shilka, compared to the ~80 Gepards in Ukraine's hands, fires smaller rounds faster and at shorter range.

The upgraded variant isn't new; it came out in 2017, yet it hasn't been so common.

China has, meanwhile, flooded russia with those same drone components and supplies of war. russia's genocidal war enables the CCP's goals.

Ukraine's allies need to be more serious about backing Ukraine's defense than China, Iran, NK are about starting WW3.
