the original language in the Senate appropriations bill kept the MYF policy to 2024 levels

just called all my Congressional representatives asking them to 1) defund and abolish ICE so that we could develop more humane immigration policies in this country and 2) restore language in the budget bill that uses 2024 multi year funding levels to determine NIH funding policies in 2026
I have been racing all morning because starting at 8:30 I have nonstop meetings and zoom until 5 (pretty typical)… I just discovered the nightmare doesn’t start until 9:30.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
