This is the facility that I and many others have been protesting. We’ve been hit, thrown, gassed, and shot with pepper bullets but none of that holds a candle to what is being done to people *in* the actual facility.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

The solution to the budget impasse is obvious. Both parties should agree on Medicare for All. Republicans can say they ended Obamacare along with the subsidies & Democrats can take credit for actually giving us healthcare coverage. Unfortunately neither duopoly party will do this.

Having worked in the front office at USDA, I can state unequivocally that SNAP expanded under Trump during COVID, and red state recipients lost their SHIT when Biden let COVID-era expansions expire. I received and read every single one of their thousands of letters. They hated him (more) for it.
Are we just not gonna talk about how Trump using hunger as a weapon to try to force his opponents to capitulate would be a war crime if it happened in an armed conflict? POTUS is *literally* committing war crimes against the US population & NOBODY is talking about it.
