If a botched American attack on Venezuela leads to civil conflict there that spills over across borders then the blame for ongoing chaos will rapidly shift from Maduro to Trump.

Two thoughts here: 1️⃣ Ford’s “subways 3x” was never pro‑transit—he just wanted it out of his way. 2️⃣ We still need intermediate‑capacity modes. Finch is a perfect example: it would never have gotten a subway, but it deserved much better than buses in traffic.
