My insurance paid when I was 35 getting my first test (I’m 61). Because as I say in video my mom passed at 39 from colon cancer. Family history *mostly gains insurance approval.
My post was to honor my mom by sharing the importance of screenings, especially for Black people.. in a 3 minute video.

People keep saying this but insurances/doctors won't give you one if you are under the age of 45. This post should come with an attack on the current guidelines and rules.
PSA -get your colonoscopy screenings, early, as as often as your doctor recommends. Especially Black folk.
