About 15-20 yrs ago, a bunch of reviews (inc. 1 by me) made predictions about the future of genomics in conservation. 1 yr ago at ICISB, Robin Waples assessed which of those predictions had been fulfilled. Sam May & Sam Rosenbaum now led the effort to turn this into a review:

Yritysten luontovaikutusten hillintä on keskeistä luontokadon pysäyttämiseksi, korostaa IPBESin tuore raportti. Yritykset ovat riippuvaisia luonnosta, mutta luonnon monimuotoisuuden merkitystä talouden ja liiketoiminnan perustana ei huomioida riittävästi.

I have been single parenting our dog for a week because @eevaprimmer.bsky.social has been busy as the co-chair of the #IPBES12 business and biodiversity assessment. Tip to delegates, if she starts looking exhausted, chocolate almost always helps #BizBiodiversity #ProundHusband
