Amazing. Also a tiny bit of Weller trivia: he voiced a mechanized antagonist in a puppet movie I did some work for hire on, Yamasong: The March of the Hollows. Got a little thrill out of getting to write that bit for him.

I am so glad you were able to make me aware of this! The Wikipedia article describes it as a “puppet animated dark fantasy film”, a title I think The Dark Crystal and Yamasong might be alone in earning. I really hope there are some more examples people can find

Only other full feature film made entirely with puppets that I know is Yamasong, which was made almost by a miracle and I found by accident. It's very charming and unique. If someone knows more films like these I would love to know, I refuse to believe there are only two. youtu.be/3bvb4BDu0rM?...
