An actual pause button, like LucasArts adventure games had. Hit the button and you pause the game anywhere, in the middle of a cutscene, line of dialogue, anything. Hit it again and the game resumes. Not a "skip cutscene and open menu" button, a pause button. People have animals, kids and partners

To no one's surprise, I loved Del Toro's Frankestein 🥹. Every "imperfection" I've seen people point out just made me love it even more. I want to tattoo this film on my soul, change my name to Victor Maristein. Fan art wouldn't be enough to celebrate it. Art is alive and monsters can save us

Authors are constantly telling people how they made it! It's just that it takes a LOT of hard work and *patience* but people like this didn't wanna hear that advice. They think there's some kind of secret code or magic words that'll let you skip all that.

This is one of the reasons I think it'd be very helpful to also have something like "allow lists."
E.g. anyone I follow or add to an "allow list" is exempt from any blocklist I follow so I know my friends don't get added to a list I sub to.

Personally I’m not too pressed because I always assume the people who are truly interested in me will at one point notice/seek me out and undo the block, but for smaller accounts it’s messed up and can really screw you over

Ppl should do regular self check-in’s to see if their sexuality/gender/outward and inner appearance still fit them correctly or if they need to adjust things for who they are. I know everyone doesn’t do this but I honestly thinks that’s to their possible detriment.
