I felt the same way. I liked the semantic turn from "part-Metroid" to "is a Metroid", but the way Dread handles those characteristics is so different from Fusion. I preferred when they were vulnerabilities in equal measure as strengths.

I've even got Indy dreamers who can cope with me occasionally dunking on the weaksauce Sophistry of the SNP.

I read that as saying, effectively, "if I take a strong stand that trans people deserve to have civil rights I will get attacked on that as an "identity" issue and therefore, i shouldn't do that and should focus instead on jobs, etc" to me, that is weaksauce x1000 - civil rights aren't negotiable
