Saw Iron Lung

Very faithful to the game; it was quite good! Markiplier and his film crew did an amazing job. I only had small minor gripes regarding the sound but that may have been just my small town theater having a small issue tonight.

Also, I scored the poster!

This game was amazing and beautiful.
Having this fascist play Zoe, is so disappointing

Well, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple was just absolutely amazing. Truly one of the best films I've seen in ages. In some ways, it makes the first film retroactively a lot better, especially that jarring ending. Excited for the third!
Ahhh, I really don't think I liked 28 Years Later, as much as that pains me to say. The first act is truly fantastic, but it falls off quite quickly afterwards, and I thought the ending was just terrible. I was so excited for it! :(

wow, thanks @frightya.bsky.social and #frightclub. amazing that was co-written by an actual Secret Service man who worked on counterfeiting. Mb best chase scene ever? Great film, have a good night everyone!

Molly knew that Duckie was the gay best friend. John Hughes had no idea. Amazing that she - and preview audiences - wrestled the film away from a story they didn’t want to hear. Classy move.

13. Odessa A’zion & Hellraiser (2022)

She’s on everyone’s radars now because of Marty Supreme, but the film that put her on mine was the last Hellraiser.

I won’t call the film amazing, it’s decent but far from great.

What is great, is seeing Odessa put a lot of effort into regardless!

This is more of a K-drama than a horror film. But it does werewolf! Everyone is going to tell me it was terrible CGI, but I liked it. I have a theory that people just call any CGI that they know is CGI terrible. Don't get me wrong, I live for practical effects, and they can be amazing.

it's...something. dylan baker is amazing in it. that was my main takeaway, apart from it being a fascinating/disturbing film

none of this is to say that the rest of the series is perfect and amazing and not racist but holy shit man the other 2 original movies are perfect in comparison to this piece of garbage.

Jason and the Argonauts. Saw it with my dad at the cinema. Loved it if a little bit scared. The ‘travelling matt’ visual effects were amazing if a little primitive by today’s CGI standards but it was still a brilliant film for 9/10 year old me and watching on the big screen. That scene scared me.

It's not often we get treated to a brand new film stock, and of all the films released last year, Kentmere 200 was the one that I got excited about, and for good reason. It's an amazing film stock.

Watched Sinners because it got 16 Oscar nominations today, and good god; it deserves them. Holy wow! Never seen quite such an amazing film. Happy that there were Indigenous folks in it too.

Michael B. Jordan as Smoke and Stack was way better than Adam Sandler as Jack and Jill in Jack and Jill.

overlong and undercooked.

it felt like it wanted to be so epic and amazing and groundbreaking.. it was willing to rip off every successful indie action film known to man to do it.

the characters were (IMO) neon-colored archetypes that didn't deepen the story at all, just propelled it. 4/10

First time I saw them was at a festival at the end of the summer of 1991, called "Ein Abend in Wien", in Rotterdam. They had just changed their name from "Swell Dopa" to Magnapop.

That festival had an amazing line up. Some of it was included in the amazing "1991: The Year Punk Broke" documentary.

Roy Orbison compares seeing Elvis perform to watching Blue Velvet. I thought it was an interesting comparison to make. Lynch used 50s iconography because he found it beautiful but also because there was something hyper real about it, which is maybe less apparent now than it was then.

My husband and I occasionally do film homework and watch movies we should have seen but haven’t. Tonight was William Friedkin’s SORCERER, and dang! That is one fantastic, slow ass film. Visually amazing. Grimy as hell. A movie you can feel, smell, and taste. The bridge scene = perfection.

Got to see event horizon on the big screen again a couple nights ago. It was the first horror film I ever saw in theaters as a kid so was amazing reliving that. Still one of my all time favorite horrors.

I saw Marty Supreme and IT WAS AMAZING!

This one of those movies where even though I was reclined in my seat for most of it, I had to put my seat back to normal near the end so I can be on the edge of it. It was that exciting while also being funny. New favorite 2025 film!

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is incredible. Holy moly. It's gruesome, insane, and there's one particular scene that was an amazing performance all around. People are gonna go nuts! 😂 I enjoyed this more than the previous film, and it sets the bar for many more terrific movies to come this year 👏

Idk too much about it which I guess, is good. There's an Iranian film that won Cannes, "It Was Just An Accident" that is supposed to be amazing. Reading the story behind the director and his cast, the risks they took to make it is crazy. Watching on Monday. I'm an inch closer to watching Sinners now

Ok, thanks to everyone for all the responses to my song list for my Superhero class - that was amazing!! I've got to get to drawing the syllabus so I should table this, but I put them all in a doc & anyone is welcome to explore/comment to add suggestions. Tnx!

Watched F1 tonight. Was surprised I actually liked it. The special effects were amazing! [Yes I know they used real races and cameras on F2 cars that they reskinned] It really was a beautiful film.

Just been to a screening of a film that I am in (for about 30 seconds and you can’t see my face) and it was amazing. I’m not allowed to say anything about it yet but it’s going to be in cinemas soon and I think it’s going to be a huge hit. I won’t take all the credit.

I loved this film. I think they might not have had the chemistry you wanted was that was the point of the film. They were apart so much we couldn't imagine what happens at the end. Catharsis in spades for the main characters, the audience in the film, and the theatre audience. Amazing direction
