Yes, I agree. Obviously, if I am playing a Django tune w/ a guitar player it is appropriate to say that that could be called gypsy jazz; Though I wouldn’t call it that. I would just call it jazz/ swing. But people hear me with a pianist playing a song from the 50s and still call it gypsy jazz lol 😂
