From imports to imitation: How R&D subsidies drove industrial growth in Brazil
Brazil’s R&D subsidy programme spurred long-term growth by helping financially constrained companies adopt foreign technologies and expand into high-tariff markets through import substitution.

MTG is getting a taste of Trump's MAGA flying monkeys, full of threats, misogyny, & hate.

Sentiments tossed at Ds w/abandon when it served her R interests at that time.

But I don't wish this on her. We need many, many more to see reality & turn on Trump (even as she tries to cling to Trumpism).

I have gotten more emails from corporations about discounts for veterans than I have seen politicians talking about how this gov't needs to do better w/r/t benefits for veterans and breaking down the military industrial complex but y'know

I agree Robert. IMO, everyone should read an old book by John K Galbraith, "The New Industrial State". It is an "egghead's" type of read but- it validates -in details- what you, R Reich, are saying‼️ #Wealth #Economy #SupplyAndDemand #WealthCreationMyths #ConsumerControl #MilitaryIndustrialState
Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Detroit really needs a longer-term EV strategy than “do EVs when a Democrat is in power and then get rid of them when Republicans win” because we are on year 15 of this shit and I gotta say it’s a waste of R&D and industrial capacity
Exclusive: Ford considers terminating the electric version of its F-150 pickup, a move that would make the money-losing truck America's first major EV casualty.
Exclusive | Ford Considers Scrapping Electric Version of F-150 Truck
Once hyped as a ‘smartphone that can tow,’ production of money-losing EV pickup may be shut down for good.

NEW: Rivian created *another* new company called Mind Robotics dedicated to industrial AI and ... robotics.

Rivian's being very cagey about what Mind will do. But it appears to be funded at least in part by VC firm Eclipse, which backed Rivian's *other* spinoff Also.

This is what I tell every leftist that get scared of a C*vil W*r. It's important to remember that the US military industrial complex cannot wage a land operation similar to ones outside of US soil within the US soil as doing so would drastically destroy infrastructure and affect profit margins
They are expecting it. They are preparing for it. They are engineering their excuses for what they're about to do.

As i've known for years, the real hurt doesn't come from mixing it up in the street. It comes from LARGE-SCALE INDUSTRIAL SABOTAGE.

Which i am not condoning. But it's effective.
