God I hate how that term gets used so much lol. One of my big pet peeves about fandom's pseudo-feminism, everything is "male gaze" except the shit that actually is (because that would mean criticizing our precious shows about men men and more men)

in order to fix it, America would need to grow a new moral compass and heart. One that didn't consider wealth redistribution evil, but instead as simply the price we pay to deal with social ills like sex work.

I've had the luck(/privilege) of not needing to deal with ‘pop feminism’, though enemy/exclusionary feminisms have been (and continue) similarly PRing themselves as "the one true feminism" since the 70s, if not earlier. :/

One cannot listen to X-Minus One (and the earlier one, Dimension X) without noticing its relation to Star Wars, Star Trek & Twilight Zone. You cannot have any of those shows without this. Some are corny, MOST are excellent for the era. (even an attempt at early feminism?)
