Complicated topic and that's obviously not the only reason that a page could get deindexed. But remember, Google actively monitors user interaction signals via systems like navboost. This is why I always recommend content can meet or exceed user expectations based on query

Trust is the most important factor. Google uses site-wide scores for trustworthiness (Q*) = user satisfaction (Navboost), ad clutter, + quality debt (pandaDemotion) before a page can compete.

I feel like they're gonna start showing AI for everything and then scale it back with user interaction data - you could almost build this into navboost if they haven't already.

Excellent finish Brett! However, I would be very careful about faking SERP clicks to manipulate NavBoost as I don't see it as a method for creating sustainable rankings for CLIENTS (faking is never sustainable). Look for ways to link to SERPs that will result in your site being clicked in the SERP
Google called it “the magic.”
Some SEOs are pushing NavBoost with a few clicks a day.
