Been listening back to Mynydd Tarw this evening, a really beautiful and evocative collection of windswept, sodden ambient electronica.

I came across this photo I took about 15 yrs ago when I lived at the top of the hill rather than in the valley. It was such a cold winter! I love this pic, so atmospheric.

Gazed at that view for half an hour (consumed half a pack of Welshcakes in the process) - could easily have stayed longer... but the weather took another nasty turn so hopped back on the bike for a gloriously fast switchback descent to Llyn Cwellyn, stopping only to take some photos to the south.

Bit of a surprise to open up spotify's wrapped earlier to Meic Williams' Gwenllian being played to me and a listening age of 69. Perhaps Don Leisure's Tyrchu Sain the cause for having artists from the 60s and 70s credited for the samples used?

Ahh, so I should've checked Webfax before thinking that the blips throwing my internal house-wide anachronistic analogue TV out of whack were anything to do with my Raspberry Pis or my aerial positioning...could have just been planned maintenance...d'oh...I've been fiddling for ages!

Ahh, so I should've checked Webfax before thinking that the blips throwing my internal house-wide anachronistic analogue TV out of whack were anything to do with my Raspberry Pis or my aerial positioning...could have just been planned maintenance...d'oh...I've been fiddling for ages!
