10 years ago I walked my dog at Huia & was surprised by the nbr of Asians collecting shellfish. On my way home fisheries inspectors pulled a lot of such ppl over. But in Coromandel mussells, scallops & piper have disappeared at our local beach. No Asians! Overfishing by many gps. Reduce catch/season

Ceviche fresh from the ocean is the best meal ever.
But I HATE shrimp.
I don't know why. But I hate it. My life would be so much easier if I didn't hate shrimp. They put that in every fucking thing.

Crab, lobster, clams, conch, mussells. scallops, octopus, squid... I LOVE all of it.

learning to make mussells in a white wine garlic sauce is pretty easy, fancy as fuck even though it's not, and pairs well with one of the fancy loaves of bread from the store. Add some candles and a nice playlist and you got yourself a stew.

Can’t wait to go kayaking- I always rock hound when I go- most of what I find are pretty specimens of some kind of Flint maybe but once I found a beautiful geode. Occasionally I find fossils- mostly crinoids, boney fish, & mussells.
