hello hi yes! it's eastern european dumplings called pelmeni (or koldūnai in lithuanian) with a lot of sour cream and a good sprinkling of 'vegeta' seasoning. the whole meal just reminds me of home! they come in a variety of fillings depending on the region and style (like pierogi, varenyky, etc.)

simple joys of life like having koldūnai in a soup of sour cream with a sprinkling of vegeta for lunch on a beautiful sunday afternoon

They sell pierogi whilst muttering to themselves ‘these are nothing on our koldunai’ and glaring at their customers

at this local kebab place i would usually order dumplings that we call koldūnai and you probably know as pierogi, which are as lithuanian a food as it gets, but these dumplings were fried in a fritter alongside various other kebab shop foods and slathered in kebab sauce

ive never had kebab in lavash bread or koldunai but i looked pictures up and they look yummy, its got me hungry now 🤤

Just made Lithuanian Koldunai, and it's really amazing how traditional foods (these are really probably almost the same to make as gyoza) make meat stretch. 1 lb of ground meat made maybe 55 dumplings.

In case you’ve never had Lithuanian food: Etno Dvaras is a decent restaurant to give it a go. The šaltibarščiai is a must! Kepta duona go well with a few Svyturys beers. And can’t go wrong with koldūnai dumplings. Enjoy!

I'm also a big potato, egg, curry and rice lover (that's why sushi is god-tier food for me as well)
for some other specific dishes that I also love, that'd be cepelinai (Lithuanian potato dumplings w/ meat), koldūnai and kharcho (spicy Georgian beef soup)

American food includes koldūnai now that I’ve gotten my Irish-American wife to make them using ingredients procured from a German deli on Long Island.

We called them koldūnai, as the Lithuanians do, but that's because we call all dumplings koldūnai in Lithuanian. Also we got them frozen from the supermarket.
