"Importer-specific elasticities of demand: Evidence from U.S. exports" is available at the International Review of Economics & Finance doi.org/10.1016/j.iref.2014...

Just doing a quick lookup of that… I don’t think Houdini can read that data format. (Sounds like a custom format), so you’d have to write an importer for it.

I keep getting messages from blueamerica.com. When I google that, it says it's a fish importer business. When I follow back messages I get from them they ask for donations to Dem candidates or polls asking where I get my news. They have no email address & they only post on X. How is that liberal?

The craziest thing about the impending Supreme Court decision on the Trump tariffs is that if they're struck down the money is returned to the "importer of record." Meaning giant corporations under no obligation to refund customers that actually paid higher prices. Massive transfer of wealth.

Ouh je vois dans ma boule de cristal la droite canadienne importer ici cette tactique.
Bessent: "For individuals who want to wire money out of the country, they're gonna have to tick a box whether they are or are not on public assistance. Then we're going to start pushing over the coming days and weeks that if you're on public assistance, you cannot wire money out of the country."

Yeah I don't recall exactly when. July maybe? There are more years in a month lately than there used to be

Also, tariffs are paid at the border by the importer. There are no latent tariffs on shelves that get paid later (just fyi)

And an importer-exporter!

He should have gone with importer/exporter or architect. 😂

Two decisions that served me incredibly well was

1: Write my own importer, so everything can fit my game
2: Don't make the visuals in the editor match the game, but use a low-res simplified representation. I do too much shader magic to try to make it look the same in LDtk

Still not sure the great dealmaker realises the importer pays the tariffs.
So a new 25% tariff on China and India effective immediately? When do these new tariffs start getting collected? This is on all goods from those countries immediately? What about the limited trade deal we just made with China? That’s over now or is this just more bs?

“She writes about the feelings behind the tastes, and it’s very cool and very influential — she’s speaking to a different movement, a young, chic, downtown, natural-wine movement, and it’s exciting,” a wine importer said about Eliza Dumais.

Trump has repeatedly told the LIE that foreign countries will be paying tariffs to the U.S.

FACT CHECK: Foreign trade partners do NOT pay the tariffs. The U.S. importer pays the tariff & then they pass it along to U.S. consumer plus added margin on the increased cost.

PRP I just imported mine using the dreamwidth importer and it was very easy!

Ces colons yankees voulurent cultiver le coton dans les riches plaines du Texas et pour cela il fallait y importer quantité d’esclaves noirs. Or, les lois mexicaines interdisaient l’esclavage depuis l’abolition par le président Guerrero en 1829.

So the good (?) news is the fridge repair people think the Noise is just because the frost-free freezer has, in fact, got a lot of frost hidden in the back of it (i.e., behind the back wall where you can't really see) and just need to be defrosted to stop

Every importer will have to sue (like Costco), although I guess there could be some class actions.

Some new Asia Beyblade X codes I don't need for anyone who can actually use the apps. Also check out wavy toys if you live in Canada. They're an amazing importer with good prices, they put on sales and have had an amazing support team that respond really quick! #Beyblade #BeybladeX

Donc Mercosur ou pas, il faudrait quoi qu’il arrive importer d’AmSud.
À prendre avec des pincettes car j’avais entendu ça mais je connais mal l’économie agraire fçaise

At some point I'll scan the HttE companion - it's 30-something pages so it'll be an undertaking, but I'll share it when I do!

I got this probably a dozen years back from Stuart Ng, who's our stateside importer, a small but very thick book of tight thumbs (no SW, sadly):
