Well in 60/70's when I grew up in NZ wop was the perjorative for Italian Australians as we knew it and wog was definitely an offensive term for Aboriginal Australians. But I have no idea whether Australians used those terms. Neither was a lightweight humourous term iirc.

Yep. First time around they were illuminating & (at the time) often humourous cautionary tales of how the world might develop.
Unfortunately several predictions came true enough to the extent where I wonder if some of the episodes acted as demos to inspire/convince makers and investors.

That's exactly why Veliss has dragged their friend here. They knew he needed this. A fun environment near the sea, with no strict party regulations, just people having fun with folk music and somewhat spicy and humourous songs.

Also posting about it and trying to be humourous has been helping me a lot to stay more calm. I had an emotional breakdown the other day because the cognitive dissonance required to go to work in a retail setting and act like everything is normal is getting to be too much.

A lot and i mean a shit ton of beings dont laugh or really have a reason to.
Its just a thing..they have different states of being but human laughter is born out of like a world of different things that each individual finds significant in a humourous way.

Great to see VBCW being played. An exotic genre to me, but I really appreciate the humourous tone and look about those games. Always good to see.

I seem to remember reading that a lot of the plot lines for the IT crowd were lifted from a forum where "someone" had asked for examples of humourous stories
