I ordered the brush tip Sailor hocoro feedless fountain pen from John Neal Books earlier this week, and I got both brush and 2.0 nibs. I’m really excited to try it out with the inks I picked up last week at the Ohio Pen Show

ちなみにhocoroの筆文字で塗りも文字も書いています。均等に塗れるのが好き。ついでに文字も書けて濃淡が見られるので好き。

画材屋さんでもらってきてたサンプル用紙につけペンのhocoroでかいてみたけど、並べると思ってたより違いがあるのね。

Also tried out my Sailor hocoro fude nib dip pen and it’s nice and cleans out super easy so using it between writing on each of the cards went really smoothly.

夜長は青寄りのブルーブラック、というより紺色。こんな色探してた。
羚羊は思ってたよりもピンクブラウン。最初薄いかなと思ったけど乾くとそうでもない。
花冠は茶系かと思いきや乾けばちゃんとくすみピンク。彩度がちょい低い感じ。
橡はインク自体はやや緑がかっていたのに、しっかりどんぐり色。鮮やかな茶色。
草遊び4色揃えてしまった……仕方ないね。
試し書きはいつも通りMDノート＋ガラスペン。
hocoroのリザーバーも一緒に届いたので1.0mmに装着。
hocoroはついでに2.0mmと筆文字も追加。筆文字はふでdeまんねんとどう違うか使うの楽しみ。

Actually, I did the writing with an inexpensive Sailor Hocoro Fude dip pen - the pen was already inked and I didn’t want to clean it but it was suck a great match I had to include it in the photo.

書写でつけペン使って思うのは、アナログでイラスト描いてた頃に使っていたペン先(Gペン、スクール、丸ペン)よりインクの保持量ないなぁ、と。
そもそもリザーバーありきの万年筆のペン先だけだから保持量少なくて当たり前なのかもしれないけど。

A4 sheet of (rather unfit for task) paper, mostly a test of the hocoro brush with speedball india ink. The wash parts in the background was...washing the brush once it had gone stiff with ink coagulate.
Also no I have zero prior knowledge of the porcudragon, it just showed up

TWSBI Eco 1.1mm Stub is great, as is the Pilot Parallel. Sailor Hocoro Dip Pen is extremely budget friendly and comes in EF, F, M, 1mm, 2mm and *3mm*.

This Lamy 1.5mm stub looks like the perfect thing for me. I love my Hocoro 2mm, and the Prera with cursive italic nib. I’ll have to do the surgery myself though right?
