#gluconate
You also gotta get him a tiny tube of calcium gluconate!

Our university JUST LAST YEAR introduced a rule that any lab with hydrofluoric acid listed on their chemical inventory had to have a tube of 2.5% calcium gluconate, not expired, in the lab. Annoyingly, we use a tiny amount of sodium fluoride, and that gets classed as a potential source of HF :(

Oh the guy was fine. He got treated, the lab was like “okay so new rule, we have calcium gluconate in any lab using HF” and the only negative effect is that he spent the rest of grad school having people call it the “HIS NAME memorial treatment kit”

I'm not sure what's in it; the label's pretty vague.
Looks like it may be from a few kinds of plants, plus a few vitamins.
Before I found that one, ferrous gluconate wasn't too bad.

If you're going to supplement, here's the protocol backed by science:

- Zinc: 30mg daily (picolinate/gluconate form)

- Selenium: 200µg daily (selenomethionine)

- Duration: 90 days (full spermatogenesis cycle)

- Take away from iron/calcium/antibiotics

lmao called it, that shit is scary! I used to work with it daily! acid apron, acid gloves, face shield, and try not to fuck up enough that any of those have to do their job

carried a tube of calcium gluconate cream with me at all times during that job just in case i or anyone else was exposed to HF

I had to take a break because 😭
I'm working hard to get my veggies off the ground and my right hip said, "hold muh beer" 🍻🍺
So 3 Advils and two potassium gluconate and I feel it easing.
🤣glad I'm not a wab😆

Most iron supplements are synthetic minerals (ferrous sulfate, ferrous fumarate, gluconate).
They’re made chemically — not from animal tissue.

In order of efficacy: sulfate, gluconate, and picolinate. It may also depend on which absorbency you're looking for and also if you have a deficiency.

Red Cross found my anemia too. Two 324 mg ferrous gluconate tablets per day make me look good on labs, but I still feel tired a lot.

Last week, now facing the environmental Citizen Suit, city of Santa Clara finally released additional PRA records about Apple's secret fab. Its not great. Santa Clara withheld records for years concealing multiple chlorine & HCL gas leaks, broken fire/gas alarms, & hydrogen fluoride chemical burns.

I'm currently taking Potassium Gluconate and just plain ol' vitamin E. Both for heart benefits, E for mood and stuff. Seems to be really helping. Was having foot swelling. Potassium seems to be helping mucho.

Gotta love working with a chemical where the safety procedure for direct exposure is "apply calcium gluconate gel liberally to affected area while sprinting to nearest hospital".

It's worse. Almost all cheap real black coloured olives you buy in most shops are sodium hydroxide and oxygen oxygenated and ferrous gluconate post treated unripe green olives. Very dark red fully tree ripened, fermented, brined olives do exist but they are rarely sold in the shops and expensive.

What better than Vitamin NIcotine, though? B12 don't stand a chance. Vitamin C? Cholecalciferol? Sit down. Ferrous gluconate? IYKYK.

Yes, so some of the iron would be chelated by the ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and moved through your gut. Any supplemental iron should be chelated with something like gluconate. Iron is any food is already chelated in order to move into the plant/animal.
