I'm reminded constantly of when the DHS guy at Federal Plaza in Manhattan told a room full of people who we were trying to help connect with social workers and resources in case they were detained, not to talk to us because "they are here to steal your identity and do bad things with it."

No further update on the condition of the victim, police are directing traffic away from the area. ICE has been active in my neighborhood today, since about 6:30 am. My neighborhood watch group mobilized and chased them away from a couple of locations with whistles and filming.

I'm in Minneapolis a few blocks away, this is real. EMTs were doing CPR to revive the victim and get them to the hospital a little over an hour ago. Bovino arrived on the scene, sheriff and PD are already saying not them, the shooter was a fed. Walz has already made a statement, he's *pissed*.

Occasionally as a litigator you run across an opposing party who repeatedly breaches contracts and settlement agreements and legal requirements — just never abides by them. Generally competent lawyers point out that you shouldn’t do business with or enter contracts with that person.
