I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

Catching up with the NJ Democratic primary to replace Sherrill is Congress:

A more moderate former Rep, Malinowski, leads with 31% of the vote. The left’s candidate, Mejia, is second at 27%. Former lieutenant governor Way, who seems to have gotten an AIPAC PAC’s boost in recent weeks, third at 16%.

There are major federal tasks forces operating still in Memphis, New Orleans, Miami-Dade, Phoenix, South Texas, still raiding homes, kidnapping people, black-bagging people from courthouses.

If ICE does controversial things but doesn't *say* controversial things, it disappears from the news.

The fact that mainstream media stopped covering ICE kidnappings in LA isn't because ICE stopped kidnapping (they didn't)

Or ICE slowed down (they have actually increased their tempo)

Or that resistance to ICE slowed down (it never stopped, it grew)

It's the "political showdown" that stopped.

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

When you agree to pass 5 of 6 appropriations bills, then you later agree to pass funding for everything that is in the 6th bill except for one agency (ICE) that has already been prefunded in a previous bill, you are giving up every bit of leverage you have and selling out.

Much of this article is essentially cut-and-paste from GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert's press release.

What Boebert's press release (and therefore this article) doesn't mention is that she voted against three of the projects she's now claiming credit for. kdvr.com/news/politic...
