When I’m not making stickers I love to paint, play video games, bake, read, cross stitch, spend time with my fiancé and our cats, and write.

I’m also super passionate about mental health, disability justice, and human rights.

I hope you’re having a relaxing night and taking care.

Good night!

i just know i roll my eyes when i see something like that in other books lmao
i'm researching for a book on disability justice + anarchism so while i'm definitely gonna cite stuff that's not accessible to everyone (eg heavy theory) i don't wanna be SO in-your-face lol

I honestly wonder if it is simply an entirely separate project from other transhumanisms, at least when incorporating disability justice. Morphological freedom, universal design, and mutual communication aren't really what a lot of transhumanists are actually asking for.

Disability justice is not separate from Black liberation. I live at that intersection every day. Honoring Black History Month means honoring Black disabled people without conditions.
February 3, 2026 at 10:52 PM
Disability justice is Black history. From activism to art to everyday survival, Black disabled people have always been here, building futures while facing layered barriers. 👍🏽

grateful for Rahman's bravery here

immigrant justice, racial justice, disability justice, and the abolition of ICE (and all policing) are all connected struggles, and her testimony speaks to this powerfully
"These practices must end now."

Aliya Rahman, a U.S. citizen who was dragged from a car by ICE agents in Minnesota, speaks out at a congressional hearing on DHS immigration enforcement tactics.

I feel like I lost a hero.

this feeling sucks.

it sucks when working for non profits and disability justice “centered” companies turns out to be filled with problems. i’ve been there, too. my heart goes out to the former employees whose dream job was shattered by abusive treatment.

Fetishising the past, it feels like that’s what they’re doing. Nothing else.
And this goes to all, actually, not only the humanities.
You claim to care about weather justice, disability justice, biodiversity, human rights, a long etcetera, but can’t center Gaza? Respectfully, you are blind. Wake up.

100%! And honestly I created a society that centers disability justice for my books (But there are other socities that don't and those get talked about occasionally) because I wish that was our world. I know we gotta work for it, but still. I wish we didn't HAVE to iykwim.

The best thing about the 10 Principles of Disability Justice, is that a society that centres them will be better for EVERYONE. If access, inclusion, and the ability to thrive is prioritised for the most multiply marginalised, it stands to reason everyone less marginalised will be FINE.

This is really important, because justice cannot be effected from the bottom up (though it can and should be demanded).

The frameworks of our society are entrenched in capitalism, ableism, patriarchy, and white supremacy. They need to be razed, and rebuilt with disability justice CENTRED.
I don’t believe disability justice can exist without confronting capitalism, austerity politics, and who gets labeled “unproductive.”

Honored to earn the endorsement of the 504 Dems and to share their support for my campaign first because far too often, disability justice is treated as optional and as an afterthought.

1 in 4 adults in the U.S. has a disability, and our city must be built for all of us.
