I tried to push this connector on, which invariably broke the headlight adjusters. It turns out it was never going to work because the d2s head is incorrect. It works without the protective boot, so I kept thinking I’m crazy.

d2s merits are that they pump out content for it but if d1 let me use a mouse id go back immediately

So, as I say in that thread, the realistically achievable ideal of 1940 French armour is likely Panhards (recon) D2s and lots of cheap, slow Berliet armoured cars with 25mm AT guns (similar to the British Marmon-Herringtons) for infantry support and either AMC 35s + S35s or just AMC 35s as "cavalry"
