If this is what The Atlantic does to RFK Jr., why is it so hard to imagine they would go further with someone they plucked off the street? (2nd image from the link, not from The Atlantic.)

Please see this thread! I wish I could think of a personal infrastructure book recommendation on the spot to add to this: since I cannot, I'll guess share a report instead.

This appears to be the source. It also singles out Reuters - but at least Reuters didn't (seem to) debase itself like this recently. Please remember that like anything else to do with LLMs, AI summaries/overviews are NEVER to be trusted on their own.

Others missed it, but I think it's worth emphasizing - even in THIS group, which includes these opinions on Jews and Hitler (as well as young women saying feminism failed, seemingly everyone not caring about aiding Ukraine, etc.), 35% (7 out of 20) are AGAINST deporting all undocumented immigrants.

Indeed. I would only add that the USSR was criminally negligent when it watched the destruction of strategic bombing throughout WWII (i.e. next door in Japan), yet made few preparations to protect Korea. This could shoot down B-29s, but nowhere near enough were provided.

Mantus stays prophetic:

Dem eigenen Volk hast du nie vertraut
Schützt Tradition und schlägst deine Frau
Am Ende suchst du Absolution
In Religion

You never trusted your own people
Protecting tradition and beating your wife
In the end you seek absolution

Hi! Welcome to BlueSky!

Australian environmental science student here. Sadly, I don't have a good mangrove question at hand.

What I would like to ask instead: since you are at a French institution, have you perhaps seen this?

I that the OP is a "Climate Science Writer & Advocate" so that final takeaway about 2100 warming is almost certainly BS, but I would still be interested in your opinion on the paper's implications as an expert in aerosols.

@whstancil.bsky.social Remarkable how you remain positive on AI in spite of it precisely fitting your theories of social degradation, and you experiencing more of its..."cultural power" firsthand than almost any other individual.
Interesting that people are using AI to romanticise the period before the internet huh. It's like they feel stuck in a very unsatisfying and draining present

or something

Alright #filmsky , let's do this! Might as well start sharing my multi-paragraph LB reviews here as I write them, and see if that changes anything at all.

First up, #bugonia . Hopefully, this is sufficiently spoiler-free for those who have not seen it.

Kathy Hochul could bring down bills and protect our future by building 15 gigawatts of public renewables.

Instead, she's raising bills to build Trump's fracked gas pipeline and a crypto mine.

Is this why?
