#compasses
Try with all your might to lift others up, not push each other down with your albeit reasonable overwhelming fears.

They are obtunded, have guns, media, stolen money. We have each other (for real), working brains and moral compasses.

Pick a side and pitch for it with all you've got.

@gimulnautti You can't have concentrated power AND socio-economic equality. I avoid these compasses altogether and use own single-axis sorting political teachins & parties by pressure on individuals, with 0 pressure at far-left (anarchy). the Soviet-like stalinists/trotskists state-capitalists […]

Agreed. Because, like, we are so sick of spineless Dems. We don't just want not-trump. We want good f*cking people with moral compasses to do the right thing. Even when they don't *have* to. And letting trump make mistakes when you could be doing everything to stop him is actively harmful.
The worst possible Dem response to these elections would be to conclude that passively letting Trump make mistakes and defeat himself has somehow been vindicated as the optimal policy, to double-down on only kitchen table issues, and to de-emphasize his lawlessness. 10/

A bunch of Cracker Jack compasses. Always pointing towards something, but rarely true North

Here is the political compass to end all political compasses. This is what the axes mean in practice.

Ah, America. The land of I got mine, too bad about you.
Brainwashed people who think that all are equal and anyone can make it to fiscal independence. Where all one has to do is work hard. Indoctrination starts at birth with flag worship and chants of USA, USA, USA. With tainted moral compasses.

There are two possibilities I can suggest- either file down the Lego studs (flat file to reduce the vertical height from top & bottom) or cut two small circles from sheet styrene- you can score the circle with a wheel-lock compass & two needles or find a circular punch the right size (see pics).

The bbc, esp news and current affairs teams lost their compasses a long time ago. When they omit, select, elide and present editorial views as fact or balance, getting lost in their own echo chamber was inevitable. They just thought they were above accountability.

Oops!

Okay, rulers and compasses exist for a reason.
Trying to draw straight lines and circles for line control is good practice, but I think I'm focusing on the wrong thing.

And who have functioning moral compasses paired with some ability to judge character.

If a "society" means I have to suffer these people, I don't want it. It's why I found not being homeless hard: once I took a good, hard look at y'all, I realised how HYPODAMNCRITICAL y'all are.

We can do better. We can trim this dead wood and get people with bad morality compasses out of our camp.

Our cultural memory divine, all of which they help define, the sacred passage and all we would win or lose, they are the line, so many did die. At the very least we should appreciate them here and beyond our time, it is because of them our moral compasses even shines.

Reposting, for obvious reasons: "If we expect the public to trust us, we "must be able to show that [our] ethical compasses are not deflected by the magnetism of money.” Evidently, at Harvard, compasses were deflected, indeed.

It's sort of like that song asks "does anybody really know what time it is?"
Except we have electric motors, compasses, transformers ,fridge magnets and all sorts of things that use magnets so...
Who cares exactly what kind of photon or photon like thing magnetism uses .

It’s come to a head and it’s going to be up to the voters to decide how their moral compasses will react ☝️
Blanche didn’t ask Maxwell a single question about any of these emails. Then he moved her to Club Fed where she is served individual meals and has a puppy and numerous other special privileges while she prepares her clemency petition. WHY?

I think conservative media has been rotting the brains and moral compasses of conservatives for 30 years now.

As a regular grandmother, I am so sad about what these women are doing to their faces and bodies to fit into distorted stereotypes. Let alone what they have done to their moral compasses. Very sad.

Many in the cult really are that gullible, and may actually have believed Trump’s denials. When the enormity of Trump’s crimes becomes impossible to ignore or deny, some may re-discover their moral compasses.
