We picked up Kiki's remains this afternoon. We also got a heart-shaped box with clippings of her fur. We cried a lot. This photo is from one year ago today. I still can't believe she's gone. It'll take a long time. Even if it ever feels real, I will always miss her.

The issue is, they don't actually care about the "threat" stuff, they just want to terrorize brown children, and probably brag about the priests & children they've assaulted. They probably even save news clippings or online articles about them. They're their own heroes.

I spent a lot of time reading old Coughlin docs and press clippings for book research hoping there would be some more satisfying solution but it really was a combo of govt revoking his newsletter's second-class mailing privileges for print propaganda, and then overwhelmingly in-group Church action.

Yup. They've been sending me clippings for years. I finally told them to stop and then they started sending me hints about how they "don't know how much time they have left" and now we don't talk at all. Propaganda destroys families.
