Can confirm, a Cane's opened up in my town a little over a year ago. It's across town so I'm not sure how long it really took for lines to get better.

And for condiment aficionados/fried chicken enthusiasts their sauce is not unique, it‘s an iteration of what would simply be called “chicken sauce“ or “brown sauce” and it’s been around for decades. I do like their version of this genre of poultry condiment, but it’s hardly a uniquely Cane’s thing.

The amount of overhead Cane’s reduces by simply not seasoning a damn thing is probably pretty impressive in relation to other chicken joints, it’s still not acceptable. Respect for catering to the tens of millions of Americans that are ”tendy only” wherever they eat (good biz move), but mid at best.

Depends on how many locations you get. My area has several Cane's so it's no big deal and the customers are spread out, but we have like 2-3 In N Outs in the whole city and the lines are always ridiculous.

Mardi Gras report: i met my paltry goal this year of finally attending Muses for the first time (and i didn’t, really. just Babylon). I stumbled upon a coworker’s tailgate on the neutral ground, scored free drinks & Cane’s. i did Nemesis, a small day parade in chalmette that i have a soft spot for.

TIL that Raising Cane's is a top sponsor of US Bobsled and Skeleton, and while I'm a Guthrie's Gut Box guy, might have to switch over for now so our sledders get a nickel for every tender I house.
Women's and men's skeleton today, with women's medals tomorrow. Sunday we'll have the Mixed Team event, where you have a women's slider then the men's slider go, and there's a timing element with lights not unlike what you have in Formula 1

Haven't been inside one since. I have one right down the street from where I live. Plus a Raising Cane's. I go to the deli at the local Albertsons across the street from Chick-fil-A for fried chicken.
