Fun fact: after my liver transplant, and most importantly after my kidneys failed to "wake up".
i had that aftertaste in my mouth for WEEKS. in spite of not having any, that's what it tasted like. it was actually the taste of my own horrendously dry mouth. like, skin was peeling in there dry.
