I don't mean like a Long Walk type of thing, (but even then it ended up being good for team building). Hopefully they have a mean as fuck coach. Tire out the body and brain, participate in a group you wouldn't self-select, maybe read some Vonnegut later. The important thing is- touch the damn line!

what will work though is the Push , the deployment of this technology , not to rewire the brain but for the same old brute force triangulation and control of movement . The ill effects on self-perception are an added bonus , the thrust is its cybernetic-state enmeshing with the body , not meaning

i think that as they attempt this breach of identity-structures in order to rewire it from within the brain, the process of sorting purely from the realm of Index and not the Body , which can only be guessed at in these systems , it becomes more and more apparent that it will not work

Somewhere in the back of my brain there exists this certainty: The body is no more than a costume, and can be changed at will. That the changing of bodies, like costumes, would make me into a different character, a character who might, finally, be alright.

Most people listen to their body from their desires for food to pleasure to what tiny Pete wants. The difficult part is to sate the body while complying with the reasoning of the brain.

I remember this, you're likely experiencing the dip aka post-surgery depression which is your body dumping energy and resources into fixing stuff that your brain is then deprived of (I had FFS, and was warned of this)

Finally home from a long day at the workshop - next up quick shower & bed.

Then toss and turn for ages because my brain is awake although my body is tired.

"Studies suggest sea urchins have an integrated, brain-like organization throughout their body, not just a simple nerve net."

Sounds like they could be sentient, so I'd save the urchin.

"And do you keep other humans as pets?"

I'm a furry, this isn't very uncommon amongst us. But no, I'm the pet.

I meant Yvonne (brain pls)
Yvonne has very basic arcanum (kinda like Vertin) she could easily fit in as a human
Tho Evangeline is able to use her own arcanum when using Yvonne's body before they separate

I was in the shower - eyes closed, warm water on my skin, white noise from the water, the smell of my body wash in my nose and I realised this is the one place all my sensory walls are down and I’m 100% open to sensations

And my brain is completely silent

No wonder I love showers
