I had fun with this card in my Betor deck today. here's some other cards that did fun things. copying dundoolin weaver with this elf was great for getting lands/enchantments i had milled.
people kept removing my things, but I kept having ways to build it back and that was fun

Missed Commander Night at the FLGS #mtg but #mtga Mid-Week Magic is Brawl with a Lorwyn Commander. I happened to make a Doran, Beseiged by Time deck over the weekend, and it's cleaning up. 2cmc Formidable Speaker for Betor, Kin to All, who gets Swiftfoot Boots. I don't blame them for conceding.
Battlefield post victory, opponent was playing Brigid, Clachan's Heart, they have three creatures out, and tried to get a Mossborn Hydra on the battlefield (it is currently in their graveyard.) They had 15 life left when they conceded. I have four non-token creatures, and two token creatures, they are all boosted by Doran's abilities, every one except the tokens can survive being blocked by any of their creatures.

I consider my goofy Betor deck an unconditional success because everytime I land Oyobi, Who Splits the Heavens, the table has seen the consistency with which the deck is capable of looping spirit and/or arcane spells and always responds "Oh, so thats the thing that kills us, right?"

I have a Doran, Besieged by Time deck that's ready to play.

Toughness matters, punchy but also has Betor plus Bloodletter to finish a game if I can get to 40+ total toughness.

The new cycle of Spirit Dragons from the same plane are pretty good across the board. Most people built Betor as they are more streamlined but the rest have very solid gameplans.
