And I should have written, "it's gotten better & better the deeper I've gotten into the series"....the first books are a lot of fun. She really captures the TOS crew well, esp. Spock & McCoy

I still love how actor Logan Ramsey (Claudius) kind of jolts a bit when the guards fire their weapons as Spock, Kirk, and McCoy transport away. Kind of hints in a way he is going to be on receiving end of those guns too.

Can't pick just one! But I've already mentioned X-Men (both old & new series), Owl House (Disney), and The Dragon Prince (Netflix) before so I'll add in the original He-Man mith one is pretty good too.) And I recently re-watched the Star Trek the Animated Series (TAS) also done by Filmation.

Bashir and O'Brien have a great relationship, even better than the love/ hate relationship of Spock and McCoy

I love the expression on Dr. Bashir's Face when he gets to that point.....yeah folks you don't want to end up with THAT type of Time Travel Experience....

Kirk could absolutely be a dick (but suspect that was Shatner's ego leaking through), but he was never a douchebag - because his friendship with both Spock and McCoy kept him from becoming one. Between the three of them, they helped Kirk be a better version of himself.

He also earned the trust of his crew in such a way that they were willing to face the same consequences. They all cared about Spock and McCoy, too, but if Kirk himself hadn't been so adamant about going back to Genesis, they wouldn't have followed Stiles or Esteban, or even Morrow.
