#SpaceX-level
🔊 We have contact! Communication has been established with Copernicus Sentinel-6B. 👋

The satellite launched successfully at 06:21 CET, and is ready to continue the world’s most accurate sea-level record - a crucial tool for understanding our changing planet: bit.ly/43rJxvg

normal rules dont rly apply at that level; it makes him vulnerable but as long as 1 tesla and spacex investors keep giving him dumb pay packages he will be able to fund twitter. also, remember, it's all part of X AI now so

"Sentinel-6B deploy confirmed." SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket carries sea level-monitoring satellite into orbit, where it will take over for Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, which has been providing data for hurricane forecasters, shipping, and other interests back on Earth for 25 years. | Image credit: NASA

Power owns the megaphone: 60 Minutes trims Trump while his allies run the shop; Big Tech funds the East Wing teardown; Musk’s ❝Grokipedia❞ promises truth from orbit; Fox amplifies AI rage-bait. The point isn’t news — it’s engineered confusion. {𝗮𝙅𝙎𝘿} 🧪🛰️🎛️

This.

A few months ago I had a job offer from SpaceX. Amazing offer.
Relocation to Rocket City, signing bonus, benefits package and top-of-the-scale pay. I am not a C-suite level worker, just a TIG welder.

But... I wouldn't have been able to look my kids (or the man in the mirror) in the eye.

Sea level rocket engines don't work *efficiently* in a vacuum.

They can work, but efficiency is a crucial factor in space operations.

Why is this so hard to understand?

Why would SpaceX use inefficient rockets in Moon missions?

Indeed. And the hypocrisy is next-level.

Were it not for government assistance, Tesla & SpaceX would be gone. And Elmo wouldn't be the paper billionaire he is today.

I seem to remember that his access to some info and even buildings related to SpaceX was previously denied because his security clearance wasn't at that level (drug use, interactions with Putin, god knows what else). His lawyers advised he NOT pursue the higher level.

The NASA cuts while surely continued spaceX funding take it to a new level?
April 22, 2025 at 8:44 PM
People are going to get killed with the Lowell Mills level of corner cutting that SpaceX keeps pushing. Being "good with business" and "having all these crazy ideas" doesn't mean you don't need to listen to your actual scientists. 😵‍💫

I believe he's also named some SpaceX craft after ships in Iain M. Banks' Culture sci-fi novels.

If you're not familiar with the novels, the Culture's galaxy spanning tech utopia makes Star Trek's Federation seem practically right wing in comparison.

Everything is surface level for this man.

When Challenger blew, NASA kept things grounded for 32 months.

After Apollo 12, it was just over 4 months, as it was lightning, and not an issue with the rocket.

After Columbia blew, it was 29 months.

SpaceX has no excuse to be doing 60's level, as it's NOT the 60's. It's 2025. NOT 1965.

Is Musk now viewing the proposals & contracts of his competitors for SpaceX and miscellaneous contracts related to vehicle purchases by the Government? Is there any level of corruption that is too far for the GOP leadership in Congress to accept ?
February 6, 2025 at 3:15 AM
Little known fact: there are exactly zero black executives at VP level or above in any of Elon’s many business entities. Not at Tesla, Not at SpaceX, Not at Boring, Not at Neuralink, Not at X.

The Tesla tycoon is a key player in the US space programme and has a high-level security clearance. His company SpaceX launches US national security satellites, his Starlink satellite communications system is critical to the war in Ukraine,

My comfort level in SpaceX doing anything with the FAA is mitigated by their having a "spontaneous, unscheduled disassembly" of their last rocket.

Plus it's Musk. How many recalls is the Wankpanzer up to now? 11?

Hard pass...
